Filming Enquiries
We receive a great deal of enquiries around filming in our buildings, and most often for the library.
If you are a film student wishing to film something for a piece of work for college or university then please email bookings@calicoprojects.com to make enquiries. Note that we will need to see details of your course and an authorisation letter from a tutor / course leader on headed paper.
All other enquiries should please note the following information prior to contacting our administrator:
- None of our public library spaces can be filmed during opening hours. This means filming will need to happen after close, on closed days (usually a Sunday) or with sufficient notice for us to be able to close to the public (this is at least 14 days, and requires an additional fee)
- Filming can be booked at the day rate (12 hours) of £2000 or, per hour, at £200 per hour, with a minimum three hour booking.
- Some areas of our buildings are never available for filming, these can be outlined and are generally limited to small sections of buildings.
- External shots only may be charged at a lower rate.
